In 2015, Teeling Whiskey Distillery opened its doors as Dublin’s first new operational distillery in over 125 years, in a city that was once the proud home for over 37 distilleries. The Liberties area of Dublin City is a centuries-old inner-city Dublin neighbourhood known for its lively atmosphere and edgy fashionable vibe. Teeling Whiskey Distillery proudly champions the centuries-old craft of whiskey distillation while trailblazing a new future for contemporary Irish whiskey.

At the heart of this success story lies the Teeling family who have been making whiskey since 1782. Powered by real soul and determination, through their vision the story of distillation in Ireland is not simply about beginning a new chapter, it is about driving a complete revival in the Irish whiskey industry. Teeling Whiskey have been honoured as the gold standard for Irish whiskey, picking up the prestigious title of World’s Best Single Malt in 2019 and World’s Best Single Pot Still in 2022 at the World Whiskey Awards.

Experience the sights, sounds & smells of a fully operational distillery. All of our tours are fully guided and offer visitors the chance to experience the complete whiskey making process with one of our Teeling Whiskey Ambassadors. Each of our tours conclude with a tasting of our award winning Teeling Whiskeys, with a selection of tasting options available to suit the novice and aficionado alike.

While you take a tour of our award winning distillery you will learn about the rich history of Irish and Dublin whiskey. The Teeling family have roots in the whiskey industry in Dublin dating all the way back to 1782. Once inside our Dublin distillery the complete whiskey production process is brought to life, our fermenters are left open allowing guests to immerse themselves in all of the tropical fruits and malt aromas coming from them.
