Teeling Whiskey Distillery Wins Visitor Attraction of the Year Award!
Dublin’s only operational distillery is off to a winning start for 2016!
Everyone here at Teeling HQ is delighted to announce that the Teeling Whiskey Distillery and Visitor Centre, located in the heart of Dublin’s Liberties, has won the highly coveted ‘Visitor Attraction of the Year’ award at Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky Rest of World Awards. Not bad for an attraction that only opened 6 months ago!!
Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky Awards recognise and celebrate the finest companies and individuals in the whiskey industry. This award sets us up to now battle it out against other regional winners for the overall global title which will be judged by the magazine’s expert editorial panel. The winners will be announced at the Whisky Magazine Awards in London on 17th March 2016. We have our fingers crossed!!
Speaking about the win, Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company commented;

The Teeling Whiskey Distillery is Dublin’s only operational Distillery. Located at 17 Newmarket Square, Dublin it is open 7 days a week with fully guided tours and tastings running every 30 minutes. Visitors to the distillery can take the 5 minute walk from Saint Patrick’s Cathedral or access it via the Hop On Hop Off Bus, you’ll find us at stop 12A.
