Celebrating 8 Years of Dublin Distilling! Teeling Whiskey Birthday Batch

This week is definitely one of the most important dates in our diary at Teeling Whiskey Distillery, as we are celebrating 8 years of Dublin Distilling since the opening of our Distillery in Newmarket square in 2015!

To mark the occasion in true Teeling fashion, we have decided to release a highly limited special bottling, in the form of the newest Teeling Birthday Batch! This is the third inaugural release of the esteemed Birthday Batch annual series.

Social responsibility is at our very core here a the Teeling Whiskey Distillery. It is of the upmost importance to us that we consistently play our part in our society. whether it’s donating a percentage of the profits from our tours to local charities, or supporting local businesses, hospitality, artists, etc. We do our best to ensure we all strive together, in whichever vital role we play within the area.

Following on from previous releases such as our Front Line Hero’s and United We Stand bottlings, all of the profits  generated from this year’s Birthday Batch release will be donated to local charities.

Teeling Whiskey Birthday Batch Tasting Notes

Nose: Bursts of candied fruits, mellow vanilla, sultanas & raisins, accompanied with pressed grapes and pot still spice.

Taste: Full warming mouthfeel, with hints of apricot, pineapple and citrus, that give way to a clove spice and tannins.

Finish: Long and full bodied with dry and spicy pot still forward finish.

10ml Pineau des Charentes wine

10ml Honey Syrup

2 dashes Angostura Bitters
