Celebrating 7 Years of Dublin Distilling! Teeling Whiskey Birthday Batch

Last month the Teeling Whiskey Distillery turned seven and to mark this occasion we turned our inaugural Teeling Whiskey Birthday Batch into an annual release. This very exclusive release is a blend of our Single Malt, Peated Single Malt, and Single Pot Still. Limited to 900 bottles, this year’s Birthday Batch is bottled proudly at 47.7% ABV with all profits being donated to local charities.

Social responsibility is at our very core here a the Teeling Whiskey Distillery. It is of the upmost importance to us that we consistently to play our part in our society. whether it’s donating a percentage of the profits from our tours to local charities, or supporting local businesses, hospitality, artists, etc. We do our best to ensure we all strive together, in whichever vital role we play within the area.

Following on from previous releases such as our Front Line Hero’s and United We Stand bottlings, all of the profits  generated from this year’s Birthday Batch release will be donated to local charities. Last year we released our inaugural Birthday Batch whiskey with the proceeds from sales going toward purchasing much needed laptops for 6th year students of Warrenmount Secondary School

Consisting of three casks of Dublin Distilled Single Pot Still, Single Malt and Peated Single Malt, this triple cask release is a beautiful representation of what our distillery is producing. Our Teeling Birthday Batch Whiskey offers a completely unique taste profile for an Irish Whiskey!

Teeling Whiskey Birthday Batch Tasting Notes

Nose: Light touches of smoke with  sweet tropical fruits and honeydew melon.

Taste: Apricot, pineapple and citrus give way to peppercorn spice and subtle dry smoke.

Finish: long and full bodied with  dry and spicy malt forward finish.
