Teeling Irish Coffee

Irish Coffe recipe

Our twist on the Irish classic, which includes coffee from local coffee producers Cloud Picker, as well as our homemade spiced stout syrup which gives it a unique flavour.

Ingredients

  • 40ml Teeling Small Batch
  • 120ml Freshly Brewed Coffee (we use Cloud Picker in the distillery)
  • 20ml Spiced Stout Syrup* (can be substituted with Demerara Syrup if you’d like but it’s worth the extra effort!)
  • Fresh Cream

Garnish: Freshly Grated Nutmeg

Suggested Glassware: Hot Drinks Glass

Method

Preheat glass with some warm water and discard, add the Teeling Whiskey, stout syrup, brewed coffee and stir to combine.

Warm a large spoon and gently pour the cream over the back of the spoon and onto
the coffee.

Garnish with a light dusting of grated nutmeg and enjoy with friends!

Our friends at Image Interiors have made a really lovely video showing you just how to create this at home, check it out here and let us know how you get on.

Teeling Damn Fine Hot Whiskey

Who said a hot whiskey had to be boring? This tuned-up toddy is well worth the extra effort and is carefully tried and tested through the winter months by our distillery bartenders.
