Blackpitts Cask Strength is a double distilled limited edition Peated Single Malt that has been entirely matured in ex-bourbon casks to bring out a full smoke experience while retaining the distinctive fruit notes typical of Irish and Teeling Whiskey.
Tasting Notes:
Nose : Distinctive bonfire smokey earthiness with underlying hints of orchard fruit and maple syrup
Taste: Charred apple and pear fruit notes are interwoven with vibrant peat smoke with notes of salt and lavender
Finish: Dry wood spice fades to a long smokey savoury finish
