Dublin History, Whiskey & Beer Experts Gather at our St. Patrick’s Craft Fair 18th March!

St. Patrick’s season is rapidly approaching, and as well as late-opening and free Teeling flatcap for all visitors on the big day itself, we’re gearing up for our biggest Spirit of Dublin Craft Fair yet on March 18th! Visitors can expect our usual host of local Dublin and Irish artisan producers sampling and selling their wares, alongside some exciting newcomers.

In addition to our popular fair, we are delighted to announce an exciting new addition to this free event. A series of 3 exciting panel discussions will run throughout the afternoon in our exclusive Alchemy Room. These 40 minute seminars are free to the public, and are expected to be fully subscribed, but a limited number of tickets are available to book in advance below for our lucky blog readers!

11am – Liberties Local: The Beating Heart of the City

Right in the heart of Dublin city, The Liberties district has a rich and vibrant history of craft, culture and characters. Join us as our panel delves into the history of this iconic Dublin neighbourhood and looks ahead to how its heritage is being restored and reimagined. (Advance booking available here.)

1pm – Irish Whiskey: The Next Golden Era

From the highs of global dominance to the lows of near extinction, the trajectory of Irish Whiskey could never be described as predictable. We’ve gathered an expert panel of whiskey historians and industry leaders, including our Founder and Managing Director Jack Teeling, to trace the history and map the future of Irish Whiskey as we enter into its next golden era. (Advance booking available here.)
