Dublin’s NEW Destination!

The new Teeling Distillery in Newmarket, Dublin 8 is the perfect destination for tourists from both home and abroad. The first new distillery to open its doors in Dublin for over 125 years, the Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the ultimate destination for all whiskey fans and indeed anyone with an interest in this glorious city!

Visitors to our distillery can get up close and personal with the all aspects of the Irish whiskey making process, chat to our distillers as they pass through our working distillery and breathe in the sweet smell of distillation and liquid gold as they make their way to the highlight of any whiskey tour, the tasting!

Offering a selection of tour options to suit all tastes and budgets, for a starting entrance price of €14, visitors to the distillery will receive a fully guided distillery tour, rounded off with a tasting of Teeling Whiskey’s signature Small Batch and a seasonal cocktail, this month, a Teeling take on a Old Fashioned, seasoned up with a Caribbean twist.

Before taking the tour, visitors are invited to explore the exhibition space that documents the history of Irish whiskey in Dublin and The Liberties. At present, there is a photographic exhibition by renowned Dublin photographer Al Higgins on display, entitled ‘The Spirit of Dublin.’

There is also a café on-site serving the finest quality, locally sourced ingredients from local providers. All coffee served is from an award winning local Dublin Roastery called 3fe and the tea served in the cafe and in the Teeling Whiskey iced tea cocktails is by Wall & Keogh – an Irish company with over 150 varieties of loose leaf, organic tea in their tea house nestled in Portobello.

To bring a taste of Teeling home (and especially for all you #TeamTeeling fanatics!), there is a retail space stocking the full range of award winning Teeling Whiskey and the Teeling Whiskey Company (TWC) merchandise.

Minutes from the city centre and top local attractions like the Guinness Storehouse and Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, the Teeling Whiskey Distillery and visitor centre is open 7 days a week and located at stop 12A on Dublin’s “Hop On Hop Off”.  Visitors can simply walk in or pre-booked tours are available here.
