Description
Following on from the success of our French, Italian, and Portuguese editions, this seventh release in our Sommelier Selection series draws on our desire to innovate using the finest Spanish Rioja wine barrels. These wines are known for their notes of red and black fruits, spices, vanilla, and leather, making them a favourite among wine enthusiasts worldwide. Bottled at 46% ABV, with no chill filtration, the result is a celebration of the unique character given by the Rioja Red Wine and is truly an Irish Whiskey to savour.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Strawberry compote , cherry, delicate cinnamon spice, and caramel sweetness
Taste: Dark berries, butterscotch, black pepper and nutmeg
Finish: Long luxurious finish with dry tannins, slight minerality, honey and a hint of dark chocolate
